Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Medicare Compliance Advisory expert who serves as a subject matter expert supporting day-to-day execution of the program in alignment with CMS requirements. You will provide regulatory guidance, research, track issues, and support audit readiness and workplans.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure accurate interpretation of CMS guidance, document compliance risks, and coordinate corrective actions while mentoring stakeholders on regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/related field; Master’s or JD preferred.
• 5+ years in compliance, regulatory, or risk management.
• 4+ years in compliance advisory: research, drafting guidance, risk, audits.
• 2+ years in managed care (Medicare Advantage/Part D) or DSNP.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations (CMS guidance).
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program per CMS and regulations.
• Translate federal and state requirements into actionable guidance for stakeholders.
• Support preparation and submissions of regulatory reports and filings.
• Identify compliance risks and evaluate processes for mitigation.
• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective action plans.
• Support audit scope, testing strategies, and ongoing oversight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Monitor regulatory developments and drive program improvements.
• Deliver compliance training and mentor stakeholders.
