Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Medicare Compliance Advisory professional to serve as a subject matter expert in supporting day-to-day execution of our CMS-aligned program. You will interpret requirements, prepare regulatory communications, and assist with audits and reporting to ensure timely, accurate compliance actions across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, policy or related field required.
• 5+ years in compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management within regulated industries.
• 4+ years compliance advisory experience including regulatory research and drafting guidance.
• 2+ years experience supporting managed care or Medicare programs.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations and CMS guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• CHC certification preferred; CMS audit familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and federal/state regs.
• Translate federal/state requirements into clear guidance for stakeholders.
• Develop regulatory communications and liaise with regulators as appropriate.
• Support preparation, validation, and submission of regulatory reports and attestations.
• Identify compliance risks, evaluate processes, and suggest mitigations.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Provide SME support to audit and monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Evaluate remediation plans to ensure sustainable compliance.
• Contribute to training on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Review policies and processes for regulatory alignment; lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends for continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with all policies and standards.
