Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Senior Scientific Associate to write medical content for clients, collaborating with internal teams to realize the client vision across medicines and treatments. You will help translate complex data for managed care audiences while maintaining high-quality content and industry-leading standards.

The role involves serving as the medical point person on accounts, mentoring junior writers, and contributing to proposals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree such as PharmDs or PhDs.
• 2–4 years in medical communications, healthcare agency, medical education, or similar field.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for a variety of managed care audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serving as medical point person on assigned accounts.
• Developing, writing and translating complex scientific data to a broad audience across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Ensuring project quality and outcomes by demonstrating in depth technical expertise of assigned therapeutic category and/or managed care areas.
• Developing strategic content for full range of medical content (slides, advisory boards, strategy guides, monographs, training resources, etc.).
• Working closely with account teams to refine content in keeping with strategic imperatives.
• Communicating medical content with internal team and pharmaceutical clients as needed.
• Attending medical, legal, regulatory review meetings.
• Participating in internal team meetings and client meetings.
• Contributing ideas for new business proposals and planning within accounts.
• Mentoring junior writers.
