Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Senior Medical Writer / Associate Scientific Director – Publications – (Full-time, Remote)

Well-known, global Medical Communications Company has exciting opportunities for experienced, publications-focused Senior Medical Writers and Associate Scientific Directors.

These are remote, full-time home-based positions!

There are numerous exciting publications projects, covering a range of therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Immunology, Rare disease, Nephrology and Endo. These are hands-on positions, where you will be responsible for developing and/or over-seeing the development of a range of high-quality scientific content - by means of all necessary research, scientific writing, editing, and fact checking.

Work will include abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide kits, educational content for advisory boards and promotional content for speaker training, digital programs and congress booths. You will conduct ongoing publication needs assessment and literature analysis, help develop strategic imperatives and may provide other publication planning activities.

You will maintain a strong understanding of relevant therapeutic areas, client products, and objectives, and will build professional relationships with key clients and healthcare KOL’s. You will also liaise with publication managers/project team members regularly to provide updates and recommendations on content development, and may be called on to provide scientific insight and strategy for business pitches.

Qualifications:

Excellent medical writing skills

Am understanding of publications planning

Familiarity with GPP guidelines, AMA style editorial guidelines, and ICMJE

Relevant degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy, or Medicine
