Broward Health is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to join Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This full-time evening-shift role requires overseeing and directing workflow within budgetary goals, and performing complex tests to ensure quality patient care outcomes.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (or related) and Florida MT licensure, with at least two years of related experience.

• Florida Medical Technologist licensure is required.

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision assists laboratory manager/supervisor/coordinator in overseeing and directing workflow within budgetary goals. Establish work priorities organizes and assigns work to obtain quality patient care outcomes. Performs complex routine and/or non-routine testing procedures and regularly checks validity and accuracy of test results.

Job Qualifications

• Education (or equivalent years of experience): Required for consideration: Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
• Experience (or equivalent education): Required for consideration: Two years of related experience.
• Licensure: Required for consideration: Florida Medical Technologist.
