Job summary

The Lead MSA at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs monitors and assigns work, provides input on performance, resolves daily workplace issues, and maintains an efficient workflow across multiple clinics and specialties.

Duties include ensuring coverage of all areas, timely completion of Return to Clinic Orders and Consults, reviewing data for efficiency and quality, and guiding staff through training and performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship is required; non-citizens may apply only per VA policy.
  • English proficiency required in spoken and written form (38 U.S.C. 7403(f)).
  • Education: HS diploma or GED or equivalent from state or territorial Board of Education.
