  • Recognize, develop, nurture, and sustain trustworthy connections with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), researchers, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), payer organizations, and payer-related clients in pertinent therapeutic fields.
  • Participate in scientific discussions with KOLs, thought leaders, and industry collaborators regarding areas of interest, new data, product effectiveness and safety, as well as current evidence gaps.
  • Locate US researchers and clinical trial locations suitable for involvement in studies, considering their scientific expertise, administrative preparedness, and areas of therapeutic interest.
  • Uphold clinical, scientific, and technical knowledge in relevant products and therapeutic domains.
  • Address unsolicited inquiries for medical information.
  • Assist in the submission of requests for unsolicited medical education grants, proposals for investigator-led studies, and managed access program inquiries.
  • Identify and communicate actionable insights regarding research advancements, treatment landscapes, and innovative concepts that align with companies goals.
  • Attend scientific medical conferences to ensure a high level of expertise in the relevant therapeutic area, interact with external stakeholders, and gather insights.
  • Work collaboratively as a vital member of a cross-functional team, including but not limited to sales, marketing, and market access.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders as needed based on business requirements.
  • Conduct self-assessments of territory performance and track productivity, metrics, workload, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Encourage collaboration and enhance the achievement of collective objectives.

Qualification:

  • A higher education degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a scientific field is mandatory.
  • Experience in rare disease, ideally oncology.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to engage effectively with key medical professionals, payers, and other external stakeholders as needed.
  • Proficient in analyzing scientific data and market research, and capable of supporting cross-functional initiatives as required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management tools with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Capability to take initiative, formulate, and implement objectives independently.
  • Exceptional skills in teamwork, persuasion, and communication (both written and verbal) are essential.
  • Openness to travel is required.
