Job summary

PharmaEssentia USA is seeking a Sr. Medical Science Liaison to exchange medical information with HCPs involved in myeloproliferative neoplasms. Remote role covering MI, IN, OH, KY, working with Medical Affairs to support trials and investigator-sponsored studies.

The candidate will maintain high scientific expertise in hematology and oncology, lead educational activities, manage studies, mentor colleagues, and represent the field with KOLs and conferences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or DO).
• Ability to travel up to 70% within a territory.
• 3+ years in a field medical/MSL role in Hematology and/or Oncology
• Broad knowledge of general medicine with focus in hematology/oncology or interferons.
• Knowledge in planning and execution of scientific studies and clinical trials
• Demonstrated success developing and maintaining relationships with key thought-leaders.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills (including presentations)

Responsibilities

• Establish PharmaEssentia presence in the medical community.
• Identify and develop relationships with the medical community, thought leaders, and treatment advocates.
• Liaise and support the development of key and regional opinion leaders within a broad customer segmentation.
• Provide high quality medical and scientific support/communications to internal and external customers (e.g., advisory board meetings, regional training courses/workshops, etc.).
• Lead medical education (disease statements, guidelines, and product information upon FDA approval).
• Manage studies and ensure alignment with medical objectives locally and globally.
• Respond compliantly to unsolicited information requests from healthcare professionals.
• Lead large conferences like ASH, ASCO, EHA with impact.
• Maintain scientific expertise in hematology/oncology; review literature and congresses.
• Mentor colleagues and train core skills; CRM documentation and strategic follow-ups.
• Write and submit abstracts at congresses; be a role model for the field medical team.
• Provide cross-functional support for Market Access and other Medical Affairs.
