Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Staff Medical & Scientific Affairs Liaison – Infectious Diseases and Microbiology to develop and execute medical and scientific education for the Infectious Disease and Microbiology area. You will foster KOL relationships, support clinical studies, and provide field intelligence across a global business area.

Qualifications

9+ years of experience with a degree, or 7+ years with a Master’s, or 4+ with a Doctorate; minimum 3+ years in Medical Affairs or Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Clinical Practice.
Extensive knowledge of clinical practice in infectious diseases.
Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and regulatory/laboratory guidelines.
Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, providers and healthcare professionals.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills for scientific audiences.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of engagement plans with KOLs and Infectious Disease providers.
Support education and training plans for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with clinical studies and research initiatives.
Act as scientific authority and deliver medical and scientific education to collaborators.
Stay current on infection disease trends and diagnostic innovation; prepare materials for presentations.
