Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on CNS to operate in a field-based role within the ecosystem team. The MSL will provide clinical, economic, and health outcomes information to KIs, LPLs, healthcare providers, and patient groups to improve patient care.

You will collaborate across a matrix team, contribute to regional medical strategies, and support education and trials while traveling up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences required.
• Experience working with healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs; CNS experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information related to CNS disease states.
• Engage with Key Influencers (KIs), Local Practice Leaders (LPLs), healthcare providers, and patient groups.
• Develop and maintain understanding of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Disseminate evidence and train speakers; assist with trials and evidence generation.
• Mentor peers and collaborate across matrix teams.
