Job summary

Inspira Education Group is seeking a Senior Medical School Admissions Consultant—an experienced physician who mentors students through the medical school application process. You will build strategies, refine personal statements, and support interview prep as a part-time remote contract role (1099) that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

You will work closely with students to guide program selection, drafts for essays, resumes, recommendations, and timelines while staying

Qualifications

• Must have served on a medical school admissions committee or board.
• MD or DO degree completed.
• 5–7 years in education, coaching, tutoring, or medical school admissions consulting.
• Passion for coaching.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong English writing and editing skills for medical school essays.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management and applicant tracking.

Responsibilities

• Help candidates identify opportunities to build their profile and draft medical school documents.
• Manage relationships with applicants and families with guidance on selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews.
• Identify optimal programs and schools and advise on research and alignment with goals.
• Support students with project planning, timelines, and progress tracking using internal tools.
• Stay up to date on admissions processes to advise on school selection and nuances of applying.
