The role includes directing statistics, care evaluation, and MIS activities, ensuring accurate records management and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds RHIA certification with 4 years in hospital records, including 2 in supervision, and a NJ driver’s license if vehicle use is required.

Qualifications

• Certification as RHIA by AHIMA.
• Four (4) years of experience in a hospital medical records department, with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
• Driver's license valid in New Jersey if vehicle operation is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize, and manage the medical records department under senior supervision.
• Compile statistical data and prepare reporting for hospital administration.
• Oversee medical records maintenance and the hospital's management information systems.
