Job summary

Takeda seeks a seasoned program leader to drive end-to-end execution for complex Medical programs at the asset level from Kendall Square, Cambridge. You will partner with Medical leaders to translate strategies into actionable, sequenced plans with clear accountability, governance, and escalation.

Your role includes risk signaling, milestone tracking, and budget visibility to ensure reliable delivery. You will mentor junior PMO talent, advance standardized practices, and apply data-enabled tools

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of relevant experience in regulated environments, with leadership of global programs at asset level.
• Proven experience translating strategy into executable plans and guiding key decisions in matrixed orgs.
• PMP, Agile, change management certification or comparable credentials preferred.
• Strategic program execution that translates asset and TA priorities into governance and control mechanisms.
• Program-level insight to identify dependencies, trade-offs, and risks across programs.
• Leadership communication to present status, risks, implications, and recommendations clearly.
• Stakeholder influence to align cross-functional teams toward delivery outcomes.
• PMO contribution to advancing data-enabled execution practices across programs.
• Digital enablement mindset to improve PMO processes with data and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution management for complex Medical programs, establishing integrated plans and escalation pathways.
• Collaborate with Medical leaders to translate priorities into sequenced execution plans with clear accountabilities.
• Provide program-level visibility into milestones, risks, budget implications, and operational constraints.
• Drive governance, structured decision meetings, and timely closure of critical program decisions.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of complex risks and issues across functions.
• Support prioritization and scenario planning with Medical/PMO leadership to maintain delivery credibility.
• Oversee program-level budget and resource considerations with Finance and functional leads.
