Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI, seeks an experienced medical physicist to provide independent consultation on the medical use of radiation. This onsite role supports physicians, physicists, and staff while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the Marshfield campus.

You will oversee radiation use in diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology, mentor staff, and collaborate on HDR brachytherapy and Gamma Knife projects within a growing rural health system.

Formación

• Master’s degree in physics, biophysics, medical physics, or radiological physics.
• Minimum three years’ experience in diagnostic radiology/nuclear medicine with equipment testing and QA/QC.
• Board certification is required and accepts ABR/Canadian boards as listed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide independent consultation to physicians and staff on medical use of radiation.
• Oversee the use of radiation in diagnostic imaging and/or radiation oncology to ensure safety and compliance.
• Train staff and act as a resource for other physicists in radiation in medicine.
• Implement advanced imaging and treatment technologies and research new techniques.

Educación
