Qualifications

• Certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics by ABR or Certification in Radiation Therapy Physics by ABMP or Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by COMP.
• NYS Therapeutic Radiological Medical Physicist License.
• PhD in Medical Physics or equivalent with three (3) years of full-time Therapy Medical Physicist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Medical Physicist I and II, providing medical physicist services for radiotherapy, maintaining QA and calibration of radiotherapy equipment.
• Provide consultation in radiation safety, participate in treatment design and delivery; serve as faculty and mentor; assume greater responsibility after board certification.
