Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Cleveland, OH seeks a Medical Physics professional to ensure high-quality radiation therapy delivery, dose calculations, and safety compliance in Radiation Oncology Services. Collaboration with clinical staff will support patient care, education, and QA processes across the department.

The role emphasizes adherence to CAMPEP/ABR standards, experience with HDR/SRS, and strong dosimetry skills. Relocation may be required depending on site needs and licensing.

Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Medical Physics required (preferred).
• Must be located or willing to relocate to Green Bay, WI or surrounding area.
• Minimum of 5+ years clinical experience in addition to a CAMPEP-accredited residency.
• ABR Part-II (and possibly Part-III) exam preferred.
• Experience with HDR and SRS programs preferred.
• Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by ABR or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Calibration of dose meters and radiation equipment; beam data acquisition for planning.
• Preparation of data for treatment planning systems; dosimetry software development.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and organizational radiation safety regulations.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and policy development.
• Assist in acceptance testing and commissioning of new machines; re-commissioning after maintenance.
• Perform individual treatment planning, dosimetry calculations, and reviews; provide physics consultations.
