Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced claims adjuster to review, investigate, and manage high-exposure professional liability and medical malpractice claims. You will work with clients, brokers and attorneys to resolve claims efficiently, and you may mentor junior staff as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years prior experience handling professional liability/medical malpractice, auto/general liability claims, or equivalent.
• Active multi-state adjuster license required.

Responsibilities

• Review and examine claim forms to determine insurance coverage.
• Interview claimants and clients; document results within established time frames.
• Consult reports and medical records to determine nature and extent of injuries.
• Ensure that claim files and reserves are current; inform clients on claim status.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and coordinate litigation with attorneys.
• Mentor less experienced coworkers and assist in professional development.
