Job summary

Maryland Oncology Hematology seeks a Laboratory Technologist to perform moderate and high complexity testing across multiple locations in MD/DC. You will maintain instruments, run chemistry, hematology and immunology tests, and ensure quality control.

As a floater, you will travel to various sites, train staff, and support patient flow while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. A relevant degree and certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Five years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory tests.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and perform QC.
• Train employees in laboratory procedures.
• Prepare specimens and assist with patient flow.
• Travel to multiple sites as a floater.
