Job summary

Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to perform moderate and high complexity testing across multiple sites. You will collect specimens, conduct analyses, maintain instruments, and ensure QC records are accurate.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field, state licensure if required, and 5 years of lab experience. AMT/ASCP certification is preferred, with travel across MOH locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related health care field.
• Current state license if required; AMT/ASCP certification preferred.
• Five years of experience in laboratory settings.
• Knowledge of CLIA moderate/high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory tests.
• Handle specimen collection and phlebotomy as needed.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Document QC activities, calibrations and results.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and quality assurance policies.
• Travel to multiple sites as a floater.
