Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a MED LAB SCIENTIST LEAD at NAMPA MEDICAL CENTER to perform complex testing, resolve discrepancies, and lead the laboratory team. The role requires strong clinical collaboration and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

You will mentor CLAs and new certified technologists, coordinate scheduling, and take on supervisory duties during outages or disasters while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Formación

• MT/MLS/CLS or equivalent certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science required.
• Minimum of 4 years of MT/MLS/CLS experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs complex testing and resolves testing discrepancies independently.
• Serves as trainer and mentor to CLAs and new certified laboratorians.
• Communicates laboratory status to the clinical coordinator and staffing during downtime.
• Develops department schedule for review by supervisor and attends RHM meetings.
• Implements new products, equipment, or procedures and ensures policy updates.
