Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking an Imaging Engineer III to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of advanced medical imaging equipment across MRI, CT, Cath labs, and related modalities. The role advises clinical staff on equipment use, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports inventory and department development.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required.
• Engineering technology degree preferred.
• Complex computer skills: interpret error codes, defragment drives, replace power supplies, read codes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, and operation verification on imaging equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex imaging systems.
• Inform supervisors of repair status and unusual equipment situations.
• Direct and document activities of subcontractors and outside service technicians.
• Maintain clinical engineering expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Lead special projects and mentor others.

5+ years experience in medical imaging

Education

Technical/electronics degree (2-year)
