Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking an Equipment Planner to lead medical equipment planning, procurement, installation, and related project consulting services across healthcare projects.

You will develop equipment documentation and budgets, coordinate with design teams, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. A senior level candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in medical equipment planning and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical equipment consulting services as assigned ensuring project continues on schedule and within budgetary and quality requirements.
• Leads and participates in medical equipment planning meetings with senior leadership, clinical users, architects, engineers, and consultants to support selection of equipment.
• Collaborates on equipment siting and installation requirements with clinical users, architects, engineers, and other consultants.
• Develops medical equipment lists and associated estimated costs within MEQ planning databases.
• Revises equipment lists and costs as projects move through design, procurement and installation.
• Maintains client communication and reports on budget and progress.
