You will collaborate with medical writers, instructional designers, and project teams to ensure content is accurate, compliant with AMA style, and aligned with client standards while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a medical editor or quality assurance editor in an agency or pharmaceutical setting.
• Experience editing scientific, medical, and device content in AMA-style guided by client standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive copyediting and proofreading reviews of scientific, medical, and learning deliverables.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to AMA style and client style guides.
• Review references and manage formatting; fact-check sources as needed.
• Evaluate learning objectives and visuals for accuracy and educational alignment.
• Conduct QA reviews of digital and print deliverables for content integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with writers, instructional designers, PMs, artists, developers, and client services.
• Provide editorial guidance and contribute to process improvements and onboarding.
• Complete assignments accurately within timelines while managing multiple priorities.
