Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a Staff/Sr. Medical Dosimetrist for a regular Full-Time position in the Central Region.

This hybrid role combines on-site duties at UPMC Pinnacle with work-from-home capability, following a Monday–Friday schedule. The dosimetrist will generate clinically optimal treatment plans through collaboration with radiation oncologists, technologists, and medical physicists using ARIA/Eclipse and Citrix IT systems, and participate in quality

Qualifications

CT simulation, treatment planning, quality management for radiation oncology patients.
Collaboration with radiation oncologists, technologists, and medical physicists.
Experience with 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS and motion management.
Maintains accuracy, safety, and data transfer to clinical systems.

Responsibilities

Generates clinically optimal treatment plans utilizing anatomy, physiology, radiation biology, physics, and planning software.
Communicates with the radiation oncologist during planning and with physicists/technologists for plan implementation.
Maintains high accuracy and safety standards in all planning activities.
Performs image registration and data transfer to clinical systems.
Contributes to quality management and clinical research efforts.
