The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Infectious Diseases Division seeks an MD or MD-PhD faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor level to serve as Associate Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control (IP&C). Qualifications

• MD or MD-PhD degree in a related scientific or research field.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Three years related experience in research field and/or lab experience assisting with data for scientific meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead IP&C program with a focus on hospital-acquired infection prevention and clinical care.
• Engage internal and external partners including public health authorities.
• Represent IP&C and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in public forums; mentor junior faculty.
