Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a dynamic Medical Director to oversee comprehensive care for residents in long-term care facilities.

You will provide leadership to clinical staff, ensure high standards of patient care, and promote best practices across the health system. You will lead credentialing, chair the QAPI committee, support DOH survey readiness, and drive new clinical programs while staying abreast of geriatric care advances.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred; extensive LTC/SNF experience required.
• Extensive experience in long-term care settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing oversight and mentorship to medical staff to maintain high standards.
• Foster collaboration and promote best practices across the team.
• Lead interview and credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric care advances to evolve services.
• Provide direct patient care to residents when needed.
