MaineHealth is seeking an experienced clinical leader to join its executive team at Franklin Hospital. The role involves developing clinical, operational, and financial strategies, leading regional quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives, and provider recruitment. The position reports to the Regional Vice President, Physician and APP Services, Mountain Region, and includes managing medical directors across various specialties. The candidate will also have a clinical appointment, preferably in primary care.

Requirements

• MD/DO or APP certification from an accredited program
• State licensure, DEA, Medical Staff membership, clinical privileges, and Board Certification in a relevant specialty
• Previous leadership experience and strong clinical reputation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of healthcare finance and practice IT (preferably Epic)
• Market insight into healthcare trends
• Strategic thinking with operational and financial acumen
• Operational and financial management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment
