Job summary

A Doctor of Medicine or DO with 2+ years of clinical trial experience is required, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or non-US equivalent with relevant specialty; residency preferred; subspecialty fellowship desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a clinical research program of moderate complexity with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work across a global cross-functional team.
• Ability to interact externally and internally to support a global scientific and business strategy.
• Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the design and implementation of one or more clinical development programs aligned with a Product Development Plan.
• Monitors study integrity, safety data, enrollment timelines, and key deliverables in coordination with Clinical Operations.
• Responsible for design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of protocols, Investigator Brochures, and regulatory submissions.
• May oversee Medical Directors and Clinical Scientists on related programs.
• Provides in-house clinical expertise and coordinates with internal stakeholders on ongoing projects.
• Contributes to translational strategies in partnership with Discovery colleagues.
• Stays current with conferences and literature to augment therapeutic area expertise.
