Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires 5–6 years of software testing in high‑reliability products.
• Experience with medical device quality and safety standards (ISO/IEC).
• Proven embedded software and firmware testing experience.
• Strong test planning, procedure development, and execution.
• Experience with QMS documentation and data management.
• Familiarity with cloud data storage/processing (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to translate requirements into test plans/cases.
• Experience in agile software development and software quality engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate software for a medical device including firmware, mobile apps, and cloud components.
• Ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and medical device regulations.
• Apply software quality engineering throughout the agile lifecycle.
• Review requirements for clarity and testability.
• Develop and execute test plans/procedures from use cases and protocols.
• Add and update test cases to improve coverage.
• Manage testing tasks for embedded software and firmware.
• Refine test plans to verify design against requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with software and systems teams to improve quality.
• Prepare/test data and scripts; conduct system/integration testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD for real‑time quality monitoring.
• Document results in QMS or similar system.
• Contribute to test automation strategy and execution.
• Validate cloud data storage/processing solutions.
• Support testing of mobile and other device applications.
