Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, WI, seeks a product development professional to lead FDA Class II medical device projects from early innovation through post‑market surveillance, guiding cross-functional teams in quality, engineering, research and manufacturing.

You will implement design controls, risk management, specification management and process validation, mentor junior teammates, and drive milestones, budgets and schedules to deliver compliant, market‑ready products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in research or engineering, product and material development; 5+ years in consumer products/related fields.
• Proven track record of resolving complex development problems.
• Ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead product systems development across FDA Class II regulated projects from early frontend to post‑market surveillance.
• Learn and execute design controls, risk management, specification management and process validation.
• Guide cross-functional teams through design control processes (quality, engineering, research, manufacturing).
• Develop product milestones, budgets, timelines and resource forecasts for assigned projects.
• Ensure development and execution of product specifications and quality plans for each phase.
• Facilitate discussions with marketing and design regarding claims and aesthetics.
• Mentor junior team members in product development.
• Tackle problems to achieve unit objectives and identify root causes.
