Imperative Care’s Campbell, California office is seeking a Sr Packaging Engineer to lead design, development, validation, and lifecycle support for sterile and non-sterile packaging systems used in Stroke, Vascular, and Robotics units. The role requires collaboration with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive packaging improvements and efficiency.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, with 5+ years in medical device packaging.
Experience with sterile packaging development and ISO 11607.
Strong background in packaging validation and testing.
Ability to review supplier drawings and tolerances for packaging.
Experience with packaging equipment qualification and validation.
Proficiency in CAD tools and statistical analysis software (SolidWorks, Minitab, JMP).

Mansioni

Design and develop sterile and non-sterile packaging systems for medical devices and capital equipment.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and prototypes.
Coordinate integrity, seal strength, transport, and shelf-life testing.
Collaborate with suppliers, CMOs, and labs.
Review supplier drawings and packaging documentation for manufacturability.
Develop and maintain packaging specifications and related documents.
