Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in San Diego seeks a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for the Medication Management Solutions team. This 12+ month contract role requires on-site work and focuses on medical device plastics and mechanical design.

You will lead CAD development, DOE, DFSS, FEA, tolerance analysis, and support design releases with SolidWorks 2019. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years' experience are required; advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years related experience.
• Technical leadership in cross-functional teams on large development projects.
• Experience with SolidWorks 2019, DFSS, FEA, material selection, sheet metal and plastic design, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Assess feasibility and plan resources for assigned tasks.
• Apply statistics and design of experiments techniques.
• CAD modeling of electromechanical assemblies to support releases.
• Develop test strategies to verify designs meet requirements.
• Disseminate engineering documentation to stakeholders.
• Advise on a technical specialty or facility/program as needed.
