Penumbra, Inc. in California is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer to lead the engineering, design and development of new neurovascular devices and changes to existing products, processes, and equipment.

You will interface with multi-disciplinary teams and provide manufacturing support for existing devices. The role requires 4+ years of engineering experience in medical devices, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong knowledge of GMP/QMS and clean room practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 4+ years of engineering level experience, preferably in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop new medical devices and processes.
• Create drawings for Production and R&D.
• Provide manufacturing support and troubleshoot processes.
• Document development and test results and communicate findings.
