Cadwell is seeking a Senior Laboratory Engineer to drive the continuous maintenance and improvement of released medical devices and to support design engineering with R&D for new products. You will oversee the transfer of new designs to manufacturing and collaborate across teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis of field returns, updating components, developing test fixtures, and participating in design-for-X reviews to optimize reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience; 3+ years in electronics design/manufacturing.
• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical devices.

Responsabilités

• Sustains released hardware designs and releases improvements to production.
• Performs root-cause analysis on nonconforming material and field returns.
• Monitors component library and tests/qualifies alternate parts.
• Develops test fixtures and collaborates to improve fixtures and processes.
• Participates in and sometimes drives design-for-X reviews and design transfers.
• Plans, performs, and documents design verification testing.
• Plans and conducts material inspections with suppliers
• Supports translation of design into scalable production
• Collaborates with Cadwell engineers, production staff, and service teams
