Job summary

Terumo Neuro is seeking a Sr Assembler, R&D to perform assembly of medical device products under limited supervision. You will follow manufacturing documents, record data, and communicate issues to leads and engineers. The role requires maintaining quality, safety, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves training other assemblers, supporting process improvements, and meeting production goals while working in a cleanroom setting. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cleanroom procedures.
• Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of measuring techniques including scales, rulers, US and metric measurement.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate (read, write, and speak in English).
• Ability to do small part assembly work using a microscope, vision system, and/or related automated equipment.
• Ability to follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse work population.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products or prototypes per instructions.
• Record build data on records or prototypes.
• Communicate issues to leads and supervisors.
• Work with engineers and supervisors on special assembly requests.
• Follow quality, compliance, and Company policies.
• Understand operations objectives and contribute to production goals.
• Learn and maintain knowledge to perform at least six procedures.
• Train other assemblers on certified manufacturing procedures.
• Meet performance standards and use resources efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
