• Minimum of two years of professional inpatient and outpatient medical auditing; senior: three years.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct focused retrospective quality reviews of physicians, mid-levels, and coders.
• Assure coding accuracy is monitored and education provided based on review results.
• Prepare reports for management review and identify trends.
• Ensure reviews are completed timely and feedback presented to relevant personnel.
• Assist in developing education materials on annual coding updates and guidelines.
