Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a Senior Coding & Denials Specialist to investigate, resolve, and prevent coding- and billing-related claim denials. You will analyze denials, research payer requirements, and submit appeals while collaborating with Billing, Coding, and Clinical Operations teams.

The role requires advanced ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS knowledge, along with experience in denial management and appeals, within a multispecialty vascular context.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding and documentation requirements.
• Experience researching and resolving medical claims denials.
• Experience preparing and submitting claim appeals and/or reconsiderations.

Responsibilities

• Review records and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Investigate denials, review documentation, and determine corrective actions.
• Resolve payer requirements, submit appeals, and collaborate with billing and clinical staff.
• Identify root causes of denials and help implement preventive measures.
