athenahealth is seeking a Senior Coding Associate – Customer Insights to evaluate customer readiness and ensure adoption of the athenaOne Medical Coding Service. You will analyze documentation, configurations, and opportunities for automation while leading multiple projects with internal teams and clients.

The role requires deep coding expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate customer needs into process improvements, while mentoring colleagues within Service Integrity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate professional experience.
• CPC and/or CCS certification from AAPC or AHIMA required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Medical Coding.
• Experience communicating and presenting to stakeholders.
• Experience communicating with customers and/or medical providers.
• Experience auditing medical charts for coding accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote).
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Agile development preferred.
• SQL experience preferred.

• Analyze provider documentation and audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze customer configurations and practice information to identify gaps and disruptions.
• Design solutions emphasizing automation and prevention over manual workflows.
• Master workflow design and analysis using Lean Six Sigma or related methods.
• Identify opportunities to expand value to clients through additional services.
• Independently manage multiple complex projects with proper prioritization.
• Create project presentations for internal stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
• Ensure presentations are on-brand, clear, and concise.
• Provide mentoring and education content for new hires within Service Integrity.
