Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to manage daily failed bills and claims across multiple systems. You will handle electronic submissions, rebills, late charges, and documentation while interacting with patients, insurers, and internal teams.

The role is remote, with travel to client sites or corporate offices as needed. Candidates should have CPB certification, billing experience, Excel proficiency, and be capable of training peers during onboarding and beyond.

Qualifications

• CPB Certified; 100% productivity and 95% quality in prior 3 months.
• Billing experience on multiple payers or SME on one payer.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Must pass a 35 wpm typing test (error adjusted).
• Able to provide a mock training session for interviewers.
• Willingness to explore AI to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews/Updates failed bills & claims on host system and billing vendor.
• Processes daily electronic submissions (277's) and resolves claim issues.
• Monitors daily claim errors and provides recommendations on fixes.
• Follows daily late charges & rebills.
• Bills hardcopy claims and attaches required documentation.
• Pulls EOBs and Medical Records as needed and attaches to claims.
• Creates training documents/tests and educates staff.
