The University of Miami/UHealth Central Business Office has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sr. Medical Posting Representative (H) to work in Miami, FL.

The Senior Medical Posting Representative oversees the effective and accurate processing and posting of insurance payments and refund requests, researches and troubleshoots rejections, and investigates potential refunds. The role requires strong communication and teamwork within a university healthcare system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or certifications may be considered.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Oversees accurate processing and posting of insurance payments and refunds.
• Researches and troubleshoots rejections and investigates potential refunds.
• Assists supervising staff in quality control of data.
• Contacts physician offices when vouchers lack information and educates on claim coding.
• Processes charge document batches and verifies totals on batch ledger.
• Reviews encounter forms and ensures required data elements are present.
• Ensures registrations, authorizations, encounters and co-pays are linked to visits.
