Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients and serves as a communication resource, collecting information and prioritizing to providers.
• Obtains vitals and prepares patients for exams, including EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Assists with charting, medical records retrieval, and EMR documentation per BIDHC/APG policy.
• May train or support MA students externs and Practice Assistants; participates in quality control and practice improvement projects.
• Supports office operations, including scheduling, tests, and coordination with providers and staff.
