Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage seeks a Medical Assistant – MA III to support licensed practitioners in delivering patient care. You will perform tasks from the MA I/II scope and lead by example, mentoring teammates and acting as a resource for the clinic.

Outreach includes improving patient experience, sharing guidance, and helping with quality initiatives as a clinic ambassador and change agent. Benefits are strong and focused on whole-person care within Providence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in medical assisting.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years experience providing high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under licensed practitioner delegation.
• Lead by example; mentor and support Medical Assistants.
• Act as ambassador and participate in quality initiatives for the clinic.
