Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Medicaid Practice Group. You will leverage Medicaid policy expertise and project management skills to help state Medicaid agencies improve health outcomes and implement waivers.

You may be remotely based or located in one of our office locations. You will collaborate with senior management, lead client initiatives, mentor team members, and support business development while delivering high-quality program and policy deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant professional experience in state or federal government, healthcare, or consulting.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with a State Medicaid agency or equivalent.
• Experience with Medicaid program policy, waivers, SPAs, and 1915(c) waivers.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support client initiatives with subject matter expertise and project management.
• Develop client deliverables such as program and policy recommendations and waiver amendments.
• Communicate project status to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to knowledge sharing and business development activities.
