Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Encounter Analyst for Medicaid encounters in the State Medicaid Encounters team. You will research, analyze and correct previously submitted Medicaid encounters, and work with clients delivering recurring metric reports driven by SAS and AS400 data.

You should have strong data analysis and Excel skills, the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical colleagues, and experience in the PBM or Medicaid industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional work experience with data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting.
• 3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in data analysis.
• Previous Medicaid Encounter experience and/or PBM experience
• 3+ years experience with Excel
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Great communication skills for client interaction

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and correct previously submitted Medicaid encounters.
• Examine setups/configurations and compare text files to identify data issues.
• Provide recurring metric reports to clients using SAS and AS400 data.
• Engage with clients and lead conference calls when needed.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key client parties.
