Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a Media Relations Manager to enhance and protect the company’s reputation through proactive external communications. The role partners with account leads to support corporate priorities, and manages day-to-day media relations for business segments with a client-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience (agency experience preferred).
• Strong relationships with business, finance, insurance, and media.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute media relations strategies aligned with business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with top-tier media.
• Draft press releases, pitches, statements and Q&As.
• Coordinate interviews and manage inquiries from reporters.
• Monitor media coverage and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Prepare spokespeople with coaching and briefing materials.
• Staff media engagements virtually, in person, and at events.
• Collaborate with communications, marketing, legal, and business teams.
