Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Systems Administrator (MECM) to deploy packages, build images, and manage client/server configurations for a U.S. Army INSCOM mission.

The role requires MECM and PowerShell expertise, Windows Server administration, and TS/SCI clearance. You will deliver imaging, software deployment, and troubleshooting support while remaining aligned with DISA STIGs and IA team guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant IT experience or Master’s degree with substantial experience.
• Experience in configuring and deploying MECM packages and images.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex IT system issues.

Responsibilities

• Build application packages into MECM and deploy onto servers and workstations
• Provide application/Windows OS installation, configuration, patching, and data reporting using SCCM
• Create and maintain workstation images and standard imaging processes
• Develop/maintain automated deployment packages and software installation scripts
• Research and implement new IT tools and techniques to support enterprise infrastructure
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and coordinate with client for escalation
• Maintain DISA STIGs and coordinate with IA team for security issues
• Support enterprise level issues and communicate status to management and customers
• Perform requirements analysis in collaboration with the client
