Job summary

GreyMatterTek Solutions in Quantico, Virginia seeks a Senior MECM/SCCM Engineer to lead enterprise endpoint management on a new five-year federal contract.

The role is hands-on, requiring engineering, operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of MECM/SCCM infrastructure across secure environments for thousands of endpoints, with DoD-grade security practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required to start.
• IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP or equivalent.
• 3+ years of systems engineering or senior systems administration in enterprise Windows environments.
• Hands-on MECM/SCCM and/or Intune management.
• Windows Server, AD, and Group Policy experience.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• VMware and/or Hyper-V experience.
• Experience with DoD security/compliance environments (STIGs, ACAS/Nessus, RMF).
• Experience with DoD/IC environments, VDI, pre-production labs, ServiceNow, eMASS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on MECM/SCCM engineering and operations for enterprise endpoints.
• Engineer, operate, troubleshoot, and improve MECM/SCCM infrastructure.
• Support DoD security/compliance environments and related tooling.
• Document architectures and implement endpoint management best practices.
• Collaborate with security and IT teams on incidents and upgrades.

GreyMatterTek Solutions is recruiting for a Senior MECM / SCCM Engineer supporting a newly awarded five-year federal contract in Quantico, Virginia.

This is a hands‑on infrastructure engineering role supporting thousands of endpoints across multiple secure environments. We're looking for someone with strong Microsoft endpoint management experience who can engineer, operate, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise MECM/SCCM infrastructure.

MUST HAVES:

• Active Top Secret clearance required to start
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent
• 3+ years of systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or senior systems administration experience in enterprise Windows environments
• Hands‑on MECM/SCCM and/or Intune experience
• Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy experience
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• VMware and/or Hyper‑V experience
• Experience with DISA STIGs, ACAS/Nessus, RMF, or similar DoD security/compliance environments
• Strong technical documentation and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments, VDI, pre‑production/lab environments, ServiceNow, eMASS, or endpoint automation is a plus.

$140,000–$180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
