Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer to lead MECM/SCCM design, deployment, and operational excellence for large Windows environments in the Washington, DC area.

You will drive modern device management initiatives, OS deployment, patching, and security integration while collaborating with Cybersecurity and IT teams. The role requires strong leadership, project planning, and hands-on MECM/Intune experience within a federal-grade enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft systems engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on MECM/SCCM administration in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting 5,000+ managed endpoints preferred.
• Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Intune and co-management.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support MECM/SCCM infrastructure.
• Manage primary sites, distribution points, management points, and software update points.
• Monitor MECM health, performance, and capacity; plan for growth.
• Develop and enforce endpoint management standards, policies, and procedures.
• Package, test, and deploy applications using MECM; create deployment types and supersedence rules.
• Automate software deployment processes and lifecycle management; troubleshoot deployment issues.
