Job summary

Grand River Energy Center in Chouteau, Oklahoma seeks a Technician III (Mechanical) to support a multidisciplinary maintenance team at the power generation facility. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and performing overhauls on turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment.

Qualifications

Five years of skilled maintenance experience at a generation or large industrial facility.
Two-year course of study in a technical discipline from a recognized school or equivalent.
Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, or ability to convert from out-of-state within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and parts of electrical machinery in a power station.
Overhaul and adjust turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment.
Inspect and maintain plant support equipment.
Occasional odd shifts and after-hours work during emergencies.
Create and maintain records for oversight areas; perform other duties as assigned.
