Job summary

General Shale, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Muskogee, Oklahoma facility. You will maintain and repair plant mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, efficient operations in a hands-on environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. You will work on welding, pipefitting, machining, and basic fabrication tasks while following safety protocols to sustain a zero-harm workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read basic schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Dependable with a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and production equipment.
• Inspect machinery and equipment for wear or needed repairs.
• Perform general plant maintenance, including welding, pipefitting, machining, and basic fabrication.
• Install, align, and maintain new and existing equipment.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, balancing, and handling materials.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a zero-harm workplace.
• Assist with additional maintenance or operational tasks as assigned.
